Home cooking, local produce
La Grange des Plans is a farm on the Retord plateau, at an altitude of 1,050 m. Our goats, Jersey cows and laying hens give us the meat, eggs and dairy products you find at the table. The rest comes as far as possible from local producers, chosen for the quality of their work.
Our dishes are prepared on site, from raw ingredients, taking the time they need: slow-cooked meats, farm cheeses, side dishes cooked the same day. We are happy to adapt our recipes to dietary requirements and allergies: please let us know when you book.
On the menu, depending on the season: chicken with mushrooms, tartiflette, cabri yassa, rabbit in mustard sauce, fondue, raclette, veal blanquette…
Meals are served in the farm inn’s dining room, at shared tables, in a simple, friendly atmosphere. We take the time to introduce the dishes, where the produce comes from and life on the farm.
The dining room
Our dining room, of about 100 m² on one level, welcomes up to 47 people. It is suited to meals with friends, family or groups.
Family reunion, weekend with friends, club outing: the dining room and the gîte are made for groups.
Sleep on site
After the meal, no need to get back on the road: the group gîte is in the same building. In a renovated 18th-century farmhouse, it sleeps up to 15 people, with 6 bedrooms, a large dining room and a chalet-style lounge area.

When is the inn open?
The inn offers three formats: an evening of food and entertainment on one Sunday a month, group meals by reservation all year round (from 20 people), and opening without reservation every day during the Christmas school holidays (19 December 2026 to 3 January 2027) and the winter holidays (6 February to 7 March 2027), as well as every weekend when the ski resort is open.
What is on the menu at the inn?
Farm cooking, prepared on site, as a full menu (starter, main course, dessert): chicken with mushrooms, tartiflette, cabri yassa, rabbit in mustard sauce, fondue, raclette, veal blanquette… During the school holidays and ski weekends: light meals (soup of the day, farmhouse platter, dish of the day) and afternoon snacks (crêpes, dessert of the day).
How much does a meal cost?
Meal and entertainment evening: €20 per person, drinks not included (€12 for children). Group meal (from 20 people): €25 per person, drinks included; children: €15 for ages 7 to 12, €10 for ages 3 to 6, free under 3. During the school holidays and ski weekends: light meals and afternoon snacks à la carte. For gîte guests, half board, full board and single-meal rates are detailed on the gîte page.
Can we come to eat without staying at the gîte?
Yes, the restaurant is open to everyone: come to the monthly evening, book a group meal (from 20 people) or drop by during the school holidays and ski weekends, without booking.
How many people can you host?
The dining room seats up to 47 people. The gîte sleeps 15 at most.
Can the meal be adapted to a dietary requirement or allergy?
Yes, as far as possible. Please tell us when you book.
